Advocacy, Campaigning, Policy and Volunteering

We’re here to work with you one on one, advocating for your rights in a school, youth service, workplace, care home or wherever you need us. Get in touch. We’re here for you.

We’re also here to campaign for your rights as LGBTQIA+ citizens and to help make NI a fairer more equal society. From our roles in the successful Equal Marriage Campaign to our ongoing role in the current Ban Conversion Therapy Campaign, we are committed to working with others to help bring the change our society needs.

We can help with getting your policies right, through our LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Business Charter and LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Schools’ Charter, as well as through our Community Development Project on good governance, policy writing and training. Whether you’re a small community group needing help or a large company or government department seeking consultation, get in touch. We’re here to help.

If you’re interested in volunteering with us, just get in touch. Our volunteer intakes happen a few times per year, and we can let you know which projects we currently need help with. Training is provided. Come join us!

If you are distressed or require help and support out-of-hours, please contact Lifeline on 0808 808 8000. Lines open 24/7
