Engagement Training

Whilst we seek to engage with companies who wish to sign up to the LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Businesses Charter and put in place the various elements required for this, we accept that a significant number of companies are not yet ready to begin their Charter journey.

With this in mind, we offer our LGBTQIA+ Engagement Sessions for staff within an organisation. An LGBTQIA+ Engagement training focuses on providing: a better understanding what is meant by the LGBTQIA+; means to identify issues that affect LGBTQIA+ people in the workplace and generally; clearer understanding of terminology in particular sexual orientation and gender identity; enhanced focus on LGBTQIA+ experiences in the workplace; assessment and understanding of Mental Health implications; strategies to challenge inappropriate behaviour in work-related social scenarios; and an understanding how colleagues and the workplace can be LGBTQIA+ inclusive. Each session lasts 2.5 hours, with a suggested maximum number of participants per session 25-30.
