CARA-FRIEND LGBTQI+ YOUTH

If you are aged between 12 and 25, Cara-Friend LGBTQI+ Youth will have something to offer! Our groups are run according to a peer-led ethos, where young LGBTQI+ people are our volunteer leaders. This means that everyone from the other attendees to the leaders are all in the same situation as you – whether that means you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, questioning or queer. The most important goal of Cara-Friend LGBTQI+ Youth is for young people to be able to be themselves, however they might identify themselves. The groups are safe spaces where everyone can relax, meet new people and, most importantly, have some fun! There is a real community feel to our groups.

Young people can attend by simply turning up themselves on any evening the youth group is running. Each youth group has a specific contact person, so feel free to drop them a line if you wish. We also take referrals which can be arranged by simply emailing us as well.
